The Musselwhite mine  is a 4,000 tonne per day gold producer in Northwestern Ontario. It  is a fly-in, fly-out operation located along the southern shore of Opapimiskan Lake, approximately 480 kilometres north of Thunder Bay. HGC conducted a full environmental assessment and sound level monitoring of ongoing operations at the facility.

Acoustical consulting services delivered::

  • Conducted detailed acoustical assessment reports and audits in accordance with The Ontario Ministry of the Environment Guidelines
  • Specified noise controls for new equipment
  • Conducted sound level monitoring of ongoing operations at the facility
