HGC Engineering is always looking for qualified acousticians who may be interested in joining our active and growing acoustic engineering practice based in Mississauga, Ontario and Calgary, Alberta. Opportunities exist both at intermediate and senior engineering levels. Candidates with several years of acoustical related experience are preferred, but applications are welcomed from new graduates.

Toronto-based Junior Acoustical Engineer Wanted

Toronto-based Field Vibration Monitoring Specialist Wanted

Successful Candidates Will Typically Have

  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal and people skills
  • Self-motivation
  • A Class 1 Drivers License and the use of a personal vehicle for site visits
  • An interest in the field of acoustics, noise and vibration challenges
  • The ability to solve problems, multitask and meet deadline
  • Willingness to carry out field work at various sites at all times of day

Typical projects involve field work to gather acoustic, noise and vibration data, analysis, modeling and report preparation. You would generally be involved in a number of acoustic projects at any one time and enjoy client contact and working in a collegial environment. Membership in Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) would be an asset. All our technical staff are encouraged to work towards obtaining certification/licensing as a Professional Engineer.
