Garrison Point is a master planned community located in the historic Fort York district of southwest Toronto and is situated on a 7.6 acre triangular-shaped site bounded by the CP/GO Transit Georgetown rail line to the north and CN/GO Transit Lakeshore rail line to the south. These kind of plots of Toronto land once considered unlikely development sites have become more attractive to builders over the years. In this instance, multiple developers came together and are now working in concert to develop this new mixed-use neighbourhood that includes five residential towers ranging from 24 to 39 storeys—half of which are rental buildings, as well as townhomes and retail spaces. Garrison Point includes a four-acre park and a connection to surrounding neighbourhoods via Garrison Crossing, a new pedestrian and cycle trail. We have been involved from the outset on this project from land-use planning, to construction vibration monitoring, to comprehensive acoustical services on all the residential towers at Garrison Point.
