HGC Engineering welcomes new company associates

HGC Engineering would like to both congratulate and welcome Simon Edwards and Nathan Gara as our newest company associates and equity shareholders. Both are long serving team members, with Nathan having started at HGC in 2015, while Simon joined us in 2016.

At HGC Engineering, we believe that our employee ownership model is at the core of our success. With these two latest additions, we now have a team of 18 Principals and Associates. 

 

Simon Edwards
Simon is a member of our built environment division, whose acoustical design work spans the permitting, design, construction, and post-occupancy phases of residential and commercial buildings. His work encompasses both new base-building and tenant fit-out projects, as well as complaint-related investigations for existing buildings including acting as an expert witness in litigious disputes. Simon also has extensive expertise conducting a wide variety of noise, vibration and acoustical related measurements, in accordance with local and international standards. Further to his role as a project engineer, Simon has also helped develop the company Mentorship program and is championing other key strategic initiatives at HGC Engineering.  

 

 

Nathan Gara
Nathan is a member of our structural vibration division. His work focuses primarily on long-term acoustical and vibration measurements. He has implemented and maintained remote-accessible sound and vibration monitoring systems in a wide variety of locations and environments, including several large, multi-phase infrastructure projects in Ontario. Nathan is also an expert in completing acoustic audits of wind energy facilities.
