How HGC Delivered Workplace Acoustics and Noise Control for a Class AAA Office Tower in Calgary
This 25 storey, 650,000-ft² office development includes a pedestrian bridge connecting it to the adjacent Centennial Place building. The tower is built to Class AAA, LEED Gold standards. The development also features a fitness and gym facility, separate bicycle parking complete with shower and locker facilities for cyclists commuting to work. HGC was involved in assessing and designing acoustical features for both base-building and fit out aspects of the project including the atrium, acoustical controls for adjoining fitness and conference centres, and typical HVAC noise control and sound isolation.
