How HGC Conducted Airport Noise Impact Assessments and Building Envelope Acoustic Design for a Shopping Mall
HGC was retained to provide acoustic analysis of a proposed 31,000 square meters size mall that would include retail shopping, family entertainment, a food court, a supermarket and a cinema. Because the Mall was to be located approximately 4.5 km east of the Abu Dhabi International Airport, our acoustical consulting including noise extrapolations from future airport expansions and associated preliminary noise mitigation design recommendations for building envelope constructions.
